Top Five Ryan Gosling Movies

April 3, 2012

I love Ryan Gosling as an actor. I think he is very talented, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s very attractive! I wanted to share my top five Ryan Gosling movies with you, and if you haven’t watched any of them be sure to check them out.

5. Murder By Numbers (2002, with Sandra Bullock) “Two gifted high school students execute a “perfect” murder – then become engaged in an intellectual contest with a seasoned homicide detective”. I think this movie is good to watch if you are a fan of Sandra Bullock, and it’s cool to see Ryan before he hit it big with The Notebook.

4. Stay (2005, with Naomi Watts) “This movie focuses on the attempts of a psychiatrist to prevent one of his patients from committing suicide while trying to maintain his own grip on reality”. I found that this one needs a lot of focus to watch, but if you pay attention it is a very interesting movie.

3. Fracture (2007, with Anthony Hopkins) “An attorney intent on climbing the career ladder toward success, finds an unlikely opponent in a manipulative criminal he’s trying to prosecute”. This is a great thriller, and shows Ryan Gosling playing a different character than some of his other movies.

2. Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011, with Steve Carell) “A middle-aged husband’s life changes dramatically when his wife asks him for a divorce. He seeks to rediscover his manhood with the help of a new-found friend Jacob, learning to pick up girls at bars”. Ryan Gosling is incredibly funny as Jacob in this movie, and he also has very sweet moments.

1. The Notebook (2004, with Rachel McAdams) “A poor and passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman and gives her a sense of freedom. They soon are separated by their social differences”. The Notebook is one of the greatest movies ever made, and is the best love story as far as I am concerned. The movie is loved by fans and critics alike, and I think Ryan Gosling is incredible in it. Definitely one of my all time favourite movies. If for some reason you have never watched it, go and watch it now!

The above are my top five favourites! I have not seen Blue Valentine or Drive yet, would anyone recommend them?
